Do not carry any hazardous materials on board an aircraft.
Hazardous substances include the following:
1. Explosive substances e.g. firework
2. Gases are divided into three types:
   - Flammable gases e.g. aerosol insecticide
   - Toxic gases e.g. ammonia
   - Non-flammable, non-toxic gases which may explode upon forceful impact e.g. carbon dioxide
3. Flammable liquids e.g. lighter fluid, alcohol, oil-based paint
4. Flammable solids are divided into three types:
   - Flammable solids e.g. match, sulfur
   - Combustible substances e.g. cotton fibers, yellow phosphorous
   - Substances that generate a flammable gas upon contact with water e.g. calcium carbide
5. Oxidized substances and organic peroxides are divided into two types:
   - Oxidized substances e.g. ammonia nitrate, potassium permanganate
   - Organic peroxides e.g. dicumyl peroxide, methyl ethyl ketone peroxide
6. Toxic substances and substances capable of spreading germs
   - Toxic substances e.g. insecticide, mercury compound
   - Substances capable of spreading germs e.g. microorganism
7. Radioactive materials e.g. uranium, cobalt 60
8. Corrosive materials e.g. car battery, acid, mercury
9. All types of firearms and ammunition
10. Materials that can be considered a weapon e.g. knife, sword, all types of pointed objects
